NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Vice Minister of Health Lyudmila Byurabekova explained the reason for not including the pneumonia in coronavirus infection statistics in Kazakhstan, Kazinform reported.
“We are currently negotiating with international organizations, the World Health Organization. Today, according to WHO recommendations, only those cases that have a PCR-positive result are included in the statistics,” Lyudmila Byurabekova explained at a briefing.
The vice minister added that the Ministry of Health had submitted a request to WHO.
“And through negotiations will come to the data that must be taken into account. Each country has its own way in statistics and accounting, we want to bring it into uniformity, move with all countries,” Lyudmila Byurabekova summarized.
