Recoveries from COVID-19 in Uzbekistan exceed 1,000

Tashkent, Apr. 29, 2020. /Kabar/. Another 11 patients with previously confirmed coronavirus diagnosis have fully recovered in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara Region, the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry reported.

All the people recovered have been brought from Russia to Bukhara by charter flight and placed under quarantine. After confirmation of coronavirus infection they were hospitalized. They are all men, the oldest of them is 57 years old, and the youngest is 16.

Also 11 COVID-19 patients recovered in Namangan and 12 patients in Karakalpakstan.

To date, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan is 1,969, 1028 people have been cured of coronavirus infection, and 8 patients have died.
