Recoveries from COVID-19 nearing 5,000 in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 14, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 109 people with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 recovered in the past day, Head of the Public Health Department of the Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said a news briefing.

A total of 3,569 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.

In addition, Akmatova reported that 1,426 people who were self-isolated have also cured of coronavirus.

Thus, nationwide recoveries from novel coronavirus have climbed to 4,995.

Kyrgyzstan added 421 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking its total to 11,538.

Meanwhile, two new virus-related deaths have been registered in the country over the past day, raising the death toll to 149.
