Registration for national testing to begin after epidemiological situation in country improved

Bishkek, March 31, 2020. /Kabar/. Registration for National testing will begin after the epidemiological situation in the country improved, Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Education and Science Nadira Jusupbekova said at a briefing at the Government House.

"In connection with the current situation due to an outbreak of coronavirus infection, registration for the National testing had to be suspended. After the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the republic, specific deadlines for the testing will be set," she said.

As of March 31, there are 107 cases of coronavirus infection in the Kyrgyz Republic. Three of patients infected have recovered.

National testing (in Russian ORT) is a mandatory exam for applicants who enroll in higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
