Regular flight from Bishkek to Omsk is planned to be open

Bishkek, April 12, 2023. / Kabar /. Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Novosibirsk Aibek Aidarov, as part of his working visit to the Omsk region of Russia, discussed the possibility of opening a regular flight from Bishkek to Omsk with Mayor of the city Sergey Shelest, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, Aidarbekov noted that there is significant potential between Kyrgyzstan and Omsk to increase the volume of mutual trade, intensify the entire spectrum of trade and economic cooperation, implement joint investment projects in agriculture, the textile industry, organize the supply of fruits and vegetables, dried fruits etc.

In turn, the mayor of Omsk said that the city authorities are ready to support mutual business contacts in any areas, and especially in the supply of food products (early vegetables and fruits from the Kyrgyz Republic to Omsk and cheeses, vegetable oil, dairy products from Omsk to the Kyrgyz Republic).

In conclusion, the parties also discussed the possibility of cooperation in the field of tourism and the need to open a direct flight on the Bishkek-Omsk route, the report said.
