EIGC regular meeting to be held in Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul

Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2021 . / Kabar / . On August 19-20, Cholpon-Ata town of Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Oblast will host a regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country said.

The event will be attended by Prime Ministers of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Belarus Roman Golovchenko, Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov, Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin and Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Mikhail Myasnikovich.

Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Cuba Manuel Marrero Cruz will participate in the meeting as observers via videoconferencing.

The meeting of the Intergovernmental Council will be held in narrow and extended formats.

The heads of Government will consider issues of insurance support of mutual and foreign trade of countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the convergence of unilateral non-tariff measures imposed on the export of goods, as well as export customs duties.

In addition, the creation of the Eurasian regional organization for accreditation in the field of conformity assessment and a number of other topical issues on the agenda will be considered.
