Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . A regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council has come to the end in Cholpon-Ata town of Issyk-Kul Oblast, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The meeting was attended by heads of government EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) member states, as well as Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Cuba Manuel Marrero Cruz (via videoconferencing) as observers.

During the meeting, the heads of government considered the issues of insurance support for mutual and foreign trade of EAEU countries, the convergence of unilateral non-tariff measures established for the export of goods, as well as export customs duties.
In addition, the issue of establishing a Eurasian regional organization for accreditation in the field of conformity assessment and a number of other topical issues on the agenda was considered.

A number of bilateral meetings were held on the margins of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
Thus, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov held talks with Chairman of the Russian GovernmentMikhail Mishustin and Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.

A number of documents were signed following the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, in particular the "road map" for the implementation of the main directions and stages of a coordinated transport policy of the Union for 2021-2023, and the "road map" for the formation of a common market for organic agricultural products within the Eurasian Economic Union.
