Bishkek, Dec. 11, 2020. /Kabar/. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Parliament Talant Mamytov participated on Friday in a meeting of the Surpeme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) held in the format of videoconference.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, the virtual event was chaired by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko with the participation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the meeting as Honorary Chairman of the SEEC, while President of Moldova Igor Dodon – as the head of the observer country.

Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez also took part in the SEEC meeting.
The meeting considered strategic directions for the development of Eurasian economic integration, the main directions of the Union's international activities for 2021 and other relevant issues.
Following the meeting, the SEEC adopted a number of decisions and documents aimed at developing economic cooperation and further deepening integration, including the approved strategic directions of the Eurasian economic integration until 2025.

Note that Uzbekistan and Cuba have been granted the status of observer states at the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
