Regular political consultations held between Kyrgyz, German MFAs

Bishkek, July 22, 2022. /Kabar/. Regular political consultations were held on Wednesday between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The press service of the Kyrgyz MFA reported that the Kyrgyz side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Aibek Moldogaziev, and the German side - by Matthias Lüttenberg, the Representative of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia.

During consultations, the sides noted that within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, a number of joint events held in 2022. One of the important events was the Kyrgyz-German business forum and the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council, co-chaired by Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, issues of trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian, financial and technical cooperation, interaction within the Green Central Asia project, as well as in the consular and legal spheres were discussed.

The diplomats also exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda, including the situation in Afghanistan and Ukraine.

Aibek Moldogaziev and Matthias Lüttenberg agreed to maintain permanent business contacts in order to promptly discuss and resolve emerging issues.
