Bishkek, July 5, 2022. /Kabar/. Regular air communication between China and Kyrgyzstan was resumed on July 5 with the launch of the Urumqi-Bishkek-Urumqi flight, the Embassy of China in Kyrgyzstan reported.
“A flight from Urumqi Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China landed at Manas International Airport on Tuesday at 1:48 p.m. The return flight left Bishkek at 3:45 p.m.," the report said.
Today's flights are the first after the suspension of direct flights between China and Kyrgyzstan in connection with the pandemic COVID-19 in 2020.
Flights are operated by China Southern Airlines fortnightly - on Tuesdays.
