Bishkek, Dec.25, 2019. /Kabar/. At the final press conference, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have improved significantly and are at a high level.
According to the Kyrgyz leader, inter-parliamentary and intergovernmental bilateral meetings are not held within 3 years.
"Various high-level bilateral meetings are now held on a permanent basis. A business forum of the two countries was also held. During all these meetings, the two sides signed joint documents. The issue of the Maarif Foundation was also resolved, the documents to be signed soon, and perhaps next year the Foundation will start working in Kyrgyzstan. It will favorably affect competition in education sphere," Jeenbekov added.
The Kyrgyz President’s press conference took place today, Dec.25 at the Ala-Archa state residence in Bishkek.
A total of 188 journalists have been accredited for the event.
Of these, 160 journalists are from 77 national media and 28 journalists - from 15 foreign media, accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Note that this is the second press conference of Sooronbay Jeenbekov as the President.
