Bishkek, Nov. 17, 2024. /Kabar/. Ten polling stations have been organized throughout Kyrgyzstan for remote voting, the progress of which can be monitored online at the Central Election Commission, chairperson of the CEC Nurzhan Shaildabekova told reporters.
She said that remote voting is carried out for citizens who have submitted online applications.
“In addition to online monitoring, video surveillance has been installed at all polling stations. In case of controversial situations, it is possible to obtain a copy of the video recording for verification. Voting takes place from 08:00 to 20:00,” Shaildabekova noted.
More than 9 thousand citizens have been registered to participate in remote voting across the country.
Of these, 4,879 voters are registered in Bishkek, 70% of whom are young people aged 18 to 35.
