Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2022 . / Kabar / . In the repeated elections to the Jogorku Kenesh in Pervomaisky and Sverdlovskoy districts, 1,111 voters voted outside the premises, Deputy Chairman of the Central Elections Commission (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Koichukeyev said during a briefing.
He added that a total of 1,253 voters were registered who had previously applied to vote outside the polling stations.
"In general, 88.6% of voters who expressed their wish to vote outside the polling stations casted their votes. 142 people applied and did not vote, 60 of them were absent at home when members of precinct election commissions visited them, the rest - for other reasons," Koichukeyev said.
Number of voters by district:
- for Pervomaisky district- 338 (85%) out of 397 voters voted;
- In Sverdlovsk precinct election commission 773 (90%) voters voted out of 856.
According to the results of parliamentary elections of Nov. 28, 2021, re-election will be held in two districts of Bishkek because the line "against all" received the majority of votes. In this regard, the vote was declared invalid.
Thus, the CEC of Kyrgyzstan registered 52 candidates to run in the re-election of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh in Pervomaisky and Sverdlovskiy constituencies. scheduled for Feb. 27.
