Bishkek, Aug. 23, 2023 / Kabar /. A representative office of Kyrgyz Post has been officially opened in the Chinese city of Kashgar, Minister of Digitalization of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Imanov said.
“This important step is becoming a key moment in cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan. This representative office of Kyrgyz Post OJSC in Kashgar will become a catalyst for the development of postal infrastructure and strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries,” he noted.
Imanov said that it will play a special role in facilitating cross-border e-commerce and create new opportunities for effective interaction between business and consumers.
The minister stressed that with the opening of the representative office of Kyrgyz Post OJSC, it will establish its activities in the International Postal Exchange Office (IMPO) of China Post, which is located in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of the city of Kashgar. This strategic location will provide optimal conditions for efficient postal operations and customer service in both countries.
“This event emphasized the importance of strengthening friendly ties between Kyrgyzstan and China, and also confirmed the desire of both parties for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
I express my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful implementation of this important event,” Imanov said.
