Representatives of Issyk-Kul and Chelyabinsk regions discuss cooperation in tourism

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2021 / Kabar /. Deputy governor of Issyk-Kul Oblast of Kyrgyzstan Elmira Usenova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Chelyabinsk Region of Russia Andrey Minchenko, Consul General Ruslan Biybosunov and representatives of health and sanatorium institutions of the two parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of tourist exchange, organization of spa treatment, as well as the possibility of organizing direct flights between the two regions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

This meeting in the format of video conferencing was a continuation of the negotiations between the leaders of the two regions, which took place in April this year in Chelyabinsk.

During the videoconferencing, representatives of the delegations presented the health resort institutions of the two regions, discussed the organization of information tours, interaction through the trade union line, the conclusion of cooperation agreements between health resort institutions, travel companies and industrial enterprises.

Following the results of the videoconferencing, the sides agreed to continue mutual consultations in order to further develop the planned activities and achieve specific results.
