Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2021 / Kabar /. The delegation from Kyrgyzstan is expected to take part as foreign observers in the presidential elections in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Kyrgyz diplomatic mission in Tashkent told Kabar News Agency.
The delegation included the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan Nurzhan Shaldabekova, deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament Ilkhom Mannanov and Azizbek Tursunbaev, as well as political scientist Mars Sariev, rector of Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chinara Adamkulova, rector of Kyrgyz State National University Kanat Sadykov, director of the National Strategic Research Institute Uran Akhmetov, chairman of Uzbek Cultural Center Bahtiar Kadyrov, Director of Kyrgyz National Kabar News Agency Kubanychbek Taabaldiev, Advisor to Rector of Kyrgyz State National University Kalnur Ormushev.
According to data of the CEC of Uzbekistan, nearly 1,000 observers from foreign countries and international organizations have been accredited for the presidential elections in Uzbekistan, which will be held on Oct. 24.
