Bishkek, April 30, 2024. /Kabar/. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan will take part in the third international Tashkent Coffee and Tea Festival: Gastro 2024 (TCTFEST 2024), which is held on May 10-12.
Sherzod Ikramutdinov, a member of the festival’s organizing committee, told Kabar that the main goal of the event is to popularize the culture of coffee and tea, create opportunities for the high-quality development of the coffee and tea industry and business, as well as determine the prospects for cooperation and exchange of experience between Uzbekistan and neighboring countries in the Central Asian region.
“The festival pays special attention to the sophistication and diversity of tea culture. During the event, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of traditional tea ceremonies of various peoples of the world, as well as learn more about the unique Uzbek regional traditions of tea drinking,” he noted.
The festival will include exhibitions, master classes, seminars and live concerts. More than 60 companies in the tea and coffee industry are expected to participate.
Tashkent Coffee and Tea Festival has been taking place since 2022.
