Reps of Kyrgyzstan participate in int’l book exhibition in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Oct.4, 2019. /Kabar/. Representatives of the Arkus Publishing House from Kyrgyzstan take part in the first Tashkent Book Fest 2019 international book exhibition-fair, Kabar correspondent reports from the venue.

“We want to explore further the Uzbek publishing market. We also intend to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with our Uzbek colleagues. Our publishing house specializes in the production of school textbooks and teaching aids. We could cooperate in publishing textbooks and teaching aids for Kyrgyz schools in Uzbekistan, and our local colleagues for Uzbek schools in Kyrgyzstan,” said Director of the publishing house Ivan Fadin.

At the exhibition the Arkus Publishing House presents more than 100 units of educational literature.

Tashkent Book Fest 2019 is organized by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of President of Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the exhibition-fair is to promote books and popularize reading, to study the world experience in the printing industry, to establish international relations between publishers, book distributors and information and library institutions.
