Requiem in honor of Victory Day held in Bishkek with participation of Kyrgyz president

Bishkek, May 9, 2020 / Kabar/. A requiem in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is held on Victory Square in Bishkek.

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and, with a minute of silence, honored the memory of those who died in World War II, the president’s press service reported.

The event was attended by Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, Chairwoman of the Supreme Court Gulbara Kaliyeva, former President Roza Otunbayeva, Chief of the General Staff Raimberdi Duishenbiev.
