Rescuers from Kyrgyzstan arrive in Turkiye

Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2023 / Kabar/. Rescuers from Kyrgyzstan has arrived in Turkiye to to help eliminate the consequences of a powerful earthquake.

A video appeared on social networks showing a girl thanking in Turkish for help at the airport. The girl commented thatKyrgyz rescuers are heading to Kahramanmarash, where the earthquake was located.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Urmatbek Shamyrkanov said on national channel that 63 rescuers were sent to Turkiye on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov.

“Among the rescue group there are paramedics, cynologists. Also among them there are employees with knowledge of Turkish and English languages,” he said.
