Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2025. / Kabar /. New equipment was transferred to the firefighters and rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Leilek region of Batken Oblast.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan said that last year there were frequent cases of flooding in the region, and during the process of eliminating their consequences, the issue of the need to purchase equipment for rescuers was raised.
As a result, the Development Fund of Regions agreed to provide financial support.
Head of Leilek region Kanymet Osmonbekov handing over the equipment said that such support is important for the prevention and elimination of the consequences of floods, waterlogging and fires in the region.
