Restriction introduced on Bishkek-Osh highway due to snowfall

Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2023. / Kabar/. At the Sosnovka checkpoint on the Bishkek-Osh highway, a restriction on the passage of heavy vehicles was introduced.

The press service of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate told Kabar that this measure was taken due to weather conditions; it is snowing at the Too-Ashuu pass. The travel restriction was introduced from 13:00.

The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate asks drivers to comply with traffic rules, not to drive into the oncoming lane (in case of a traffic jam), not to hit the road on summer tires and to maintain a distance of 500 meters between cars.
