Revaccination against coronavirus starts today in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstanis can receive an additional (third) dose of COVID-19 vaccine starting Nov. 17 in all temporary vaccination sites in Bishkek, for other regions the third additional dose will be available within a week, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry said.

Who can get an additional (third) dose?

- people with moderate to severe immunodeficiency;

- people 60 years of age or older who have previously received Sinopharm, Sinovac and other inactivated vaccines;

- health care workers who have a very high risk of infection and transmission of coronavirus infection;

- people who have had COVID-19 (including previously vaccinated people).

An additional dose may be offered for the first 3 categories of citizens in a time frame no earlier than 6 months after receiving the initial vaccination series. For those who have had COVID-19 - at least 1 month after recovery.

It is possible to use inactivated vaccines against seasonal influenza, viral hepatitis B with COVID-19 vaccines at 7-day intervals.
