Rider and his horse die in Bishkek from lightning strike

Bishkek, June 13, 2024. /Kabar/. A man died from a lightning strike on the territory of the Ak-Kula hippodrome in Bishkek on June 12, the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.

According to the press service of the police, a pre-investigation check was launched, with the appointment of appropriate examinations and interviews with eyewitnesses.

Today, all stables on the territory of the hippodrome have been privatized, but some stables are used by private individuals.

An investigation is currently underway, the results of which will result in a legal assessment.
