Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) invites Russian and Kyrgyz companies to participate in the business forum, which is to take place on Sep. 14, 2018 in Bishkek. The event will be held with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan and the Trade Representative Office of Russia in Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the forum is to become a major economic platform for entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan and Russia within cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union. For the purposes of searching for joint business projects between entrepreneurs of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, round-tables are going to be organized, and В2В meetings on key areas of the forum’s work - agriculture, machinery construction, light industry, and tourism - are going to be held.
The event will be held with the participation of Russian and Kyrgyz officials, ministerial and departmental staff; businesses will be represented by founders and top managers of more than 200 leading enterprises. Among the invitees to the forum are representatives of major Russian companies, such as RosAgroMarket, Uralchem, Severstal, EuroChem Trading Rus, Russkaya Kozha, South Ural Weight Plant, KRANEKS Machinery Constructing Company, and others.
On the results of the forum, in case of joint projects are created in priority sectors for RKDF, the fund is ready to provide concessional financing at an annual rate from 4% in US dollars. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund was founded based on the agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Since 2015 up till now RKDF has approved 1451 projects amounting to $279 mln. The bulk of the loan portfolio is projects in the spheres of manufacture and agriculture. Priority sectors for financing are agriculture, light industry, machinery construction and electronics, as well as infrastructure of cities and populated areas.
