Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . 4 thousand 637 traffic accidents were recorded in Kyrgyzstan for 8 months of 2021, Kabar News Agency has learnt from the press service of the General Directorate for Road Safety.
According to the information, this figure is 33.4% more than last year - 3 thousand 474 accidents were recorded during the same period in 2020.
Since the beginning of the year, 497 people have died in accidents, while 6,900 people were injured. Increase in deaths from last year's figures was 29%, 385 people were killed in accidents in 8 months of 2020, while 5 thousand 237 people were injured.
