Road repairs continue in Bishkek at the expense of Chinese grant

Bishkek, April 13, 2021. / Kabar /. Repair works will be continued in Bishkek from April 15 within the framework of the second phase of the project "Development of the road network in Bishkek" at the expense of the Chinese grant.

It is planned to launch road works on two more sections of Bishkek streets from April 15 and to complete by the end of the summer.

The second phase of the project for the development of the road network in Bishkek is designed for two years. During this time, it is planned to build 5 bridges and repair 60 streets with a total length of more than 70 km. Many of the streets on this list will be expanded or rebuilt, there will be sidewalks and an irrigation network. The renovation will be carried out at the expense of the grant funds of the People's Republic of China, contractors - the Chinese corporation "China Road and Bridge Corporation".
