Representatives of Roche Diagnostics for Central Asia and the Caucasus visited Kyrgyzstan to establish cooperation with government agencies and businesses in the field of health, in particular to assist in overcoming the consequences of COVID-19 in the country, the press service of the International Business Council said.
The delegation of the company, one of the world leaders in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, was headed by Hasan Demirchi, the Regional Director for Central Asia and the Caucasus.
The company is ready to assist in further strengthening Kyrgyzstan's health system and contribute, including investments, to the development of its laboratory infrastructure both by strengthening the material base of the sanitary and epidemiological service and by facilitating pilot studies on the early diagnosis of cancer.
The company delegation discussed opportunities for cooperation with the International Business Council, as well as with the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan.
Roshe Diagnostics is ready to invest in equipping the laboratories of the Health Ministry with innovative cobas® 6800 PCR analyzers to improve diagnosis of infectious diseases, including COVID-19.
