Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2018. /Kabar/. RSK Bank should concentrate on supporting export-oriented producers, while Aiyl Bank – on backing up agriculture, Prime Minister Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziev told at a government meeting.
During the meeting the head of the government noted that the regular meeting of the country’s Government was held within measures for ensuring implementation of the National Sustainable Development Strategy for 2014-2018 and the President’s Decree On the Announcement of 2018 the Year of Regional Development.
“It is necessary to develop the country’s export potential through supporting domestic producers. That is why we are actively developing the system of issuing concessional loans, which is aimed at backing agriculture, export operations, industry modernization”, Abylgaziev said.
The prime minister noted that concessional loans system should include Aiyl Bank OJSC, RSK Bank OJSC, Guarantee Fund OJSC, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Finance.
“The main task of this system should be to assist in providing concessional loans to enterprises, leading business in priority areas of domestic economy”, he said.
In this regard, the head of government instructed to seek funds to increase the capital stock of Aiyl Bank in 2018 by $20 million, raising this rate to $100 million, along with that, to increase the capital stock of RSK Bank this year by $29 million and the capital stock of OJSC Guarantee Fund up to 1 billion soms.
Abylgaziev noted that Aiyl Bank OJSC should direct additional funds from capitalization on encouraging the creation and support of agricultural cooperatives, while RSK Bank OJSC - on financing low-interest loans for export-oriented enterprises.
