Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited a pavilion of Kyrgyzstan at EXPO-2020 in Dubai, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Chamber of Commerce said.
As part of the visit, the distinguished guest also met with the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov.
Welcoming Kyrgyzstan's participation in the world exhibition, Sheikh Mohammed noted that EXPO-2020 offers a global platform to demonstrate Kyrgyz culture and the country's vision for the future.
In addition, the UAE prime minister exchanged views with the head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet on a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various areas, especially in education and healthcare.
In turn, Zhaparov praised the strong ties between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan and highlighted educational projects that the UAE has helped to implement in the country.
