Run the Silk Road international race to be held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2019. / Kabar /. The international half-marathon Run the Silk Road - 2019 will be held in Bishkek this weekend, Melis Nadyrov, the chairman of the board of the Directorate of the International Marathon said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

The event will take place on Sept. 22.

More than 2 thousand participants will participate in it. Athletes from 14 years old to 65 and older can participate. People with disabilities can invite guides if necessary.

The first Bishkek half marathon was held two years ago, then 1,600 athletes from 15 countries ran through the streets of Bishkek, last year - 1,800 from 23 countries. Nadyrov is sure that such events have a positive impact on the development of tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
