Russia remains Kyrgyzstan's main strategic partner – PM Zhaparov

Bishkek, Oct. 14, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Sadyr Zhaparov stated that he will continue relations with Russia at the current level.

At a press conference at the Ala-Archa state residence, the head of the government noted that Russia will remain the main strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan.

Zhaparov also added that the agreement with Russia on the Kant air base will not be reviewed.

Today, Oct. 14 Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed a Decree “On appointment of the Prime Minister and members of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic".

At today’s meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh at the Ala-Archa, deputies approved structure, composition and program of Sadyr Zhaparov's Government.
