Russia to donate 40 units of special equipment and Mi-8 helicopter to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb, 1, 2023 / Kabar/. 40 units of fire-fighting equipment and one Mi-8 helicopter will arrive soon in Kyrgyzstan from Russia free of charge in the form of humanitarian aid, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov told at a solemn ceremony of handing over of a special equipment and new buses in Bishkek today, February 1.

“As you can see, in addition to the 100 units of special fire equipment that are being awarded today, 2 modern helicopters, 58 fire engines, 81 units of engineering equipment and 34 units of various types of equipment have recently been purchased. In addition, 40 fire-fighting equipment and one Mi-8 helicopter will arrive soon from Russia in the form of assistance worth about USD 20 million. After that, we can say about the full provision of equipment,” he said.
