Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2021 / Kabar /. Minister of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev has been on a working visit to Russia since Feb. 18, 2021.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the trip on Feb. 19 in Moscow, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.
The ministers of the two countries discussed issues of cooperation in the field of healthcare, as well as the supply of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus infection to Kyrgyzstan, issues of improving the material and technical base of the republic's health system, training of medical workers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The report said that the Russian side will consider the possibility of providing technical assistance in the construction of a pre-fabricated modular medical clinic as part of support for the fight against COVID-19.
Minister of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev thanked the Russian side for the comprehensive support provided to Kyrgyzstan in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
