Bishkek, Feb.21, 2020. /Kabar/. This year, Kyrgyz Test will start testing in Russian. Ambassador of Russia to Kyrgyzstan Nikolay Udovichenko was one of the first to take the test within the frame of the Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
Udovichenko was surprised at the construction of levels and questions and their focus on reflection.
"Modern equipment and methodology, the test itself developing. I expect that within the framework of that policy of developing the state and national language is a big step forward. Once the testing program is recognized by international auditors, it will contribute to expanding contacts and facilitating the lives and activities of Kyrgyz citizens working and studying in Russia," said Udovichenko.
While the ambassador answered questions in Russian, the knowledge of his native language was simultaneously checked by Kudaibergen Bazarbayev, Head of the Department for Humanitarian Development Monitoring and Interaction with Civil Society Institutions.He was tested in the Kyrgyz language.
"At the end of the year, Kyrgyzstanis will be able to take the test in the official language and receive a certificate that will be valid in Russia," Bazarbayev added.
The participants took mini-tests lasting 10 minutes.
The test consists of five levels (elementary, middle and high).
Last year, about 19 thousand people and 5 thousand 166 graduate schools took the Kyrgyz language test.
