Bishkek, May 11, 2020. /Kabar/. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKFD) has developed the third package of anti-crisis measures.
According to the Fund’s press service, the third package of anti-crisis measures includes the following:
1. A preferential credit product for agricultural development has been developed.
As part of its activities to prepare and initialize cluster development in various sectors of the Kyrgyz economy, the RKDF has developed new loan products, based on the cluster approach in the following areas:
- dairy production development;
- development of meat industry;
- aquaculture development.
2. Threshold of direct financing in regions reduced to USD 100 thousand.
In order to support entrepreneurs in remote regions of the country and to increase access to RKDF funds in Talas, Batken and Naryn Oblasts, the minimum credit threshold was reduced from USD 200 thousand to USD 100 thousand.
3. Preferential financing for business activities aimed at combating COVID-19 has been approved.
It is a special loan product for preferential financing of enterprises whose activities are aimed at combating the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. Under this credit product, financing may be obtained by organizations that focus on the production of personal protective equipment, hygiene products, medical devices, or medical equipment.
