Tashkent, Sept. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. A team of 40 Russian doctors has completed their work in Uzbekistan, and they have helped cure more than 5,000 people, the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry reported.
According to Moscow Region Healthcare Minister Svetlana Strigunkova, Russian medical specialists have gained tremendous experience during the treatment of patients with novel coronavirus infection in Moscow Region.
"More than 5,000 people have received medical care during a month of work in Uzbekistan," she said.
At the invitation of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, infectious disease specialists, anesthesiologists and cardiologists from number of Russian hospitals, as well as the Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, where COVID-19 makeshift hospitals worked, were sent to help fight COVID-19.
