Bishkek, July 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Russian medical specialists, who have arrived in Kyrgyzstan on July 24 to assist in fight COVID-19 coronavirus infection, have left for the regions of the country according to the distribution.
To date, one group of specialists is working in Ak-Tala region (Naryn Oblast), one group in Ak-Suu region (Issyk-Kul Oblast), one group in Tokmok Territorial Hospital (Chui Oblast) and two groups have been sent to Osh and Dzhalal-Abad Oblasts, the press service of the Health Ministry of the republic said Tuesday.
"They are expected to stay in Kyrgyzstan for about a month. During this time, they will help organize care for patients with COVID-19, work in the red zone and provide practical assistance in the treatment of patients," the report says.
Five groups of Russian physicians, consisting of 50 specialists, include surgeons, cardiologists, therapists, pediatricians, traumatologists, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, infectious disease specialists, pulmonologists and other specialists with extensive experience in treating patients with coronavirus infection.
