Bishkek, Mar. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Timur Maksimov expressed the hope that following the eighth inter-regional Kyrgyz-Russian conference, the sides would come to concrete agreements.
During the event, he noted that the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia are indeed strategic.
“Together we are building the EAEU – one of the world's largest regional associations. Many issues are solved on this platform. And the fact that the conference is being held as part of the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan gives an additional impetus to our work. We have two days to discuss many issues, scheduled round tables and seminars. I hope that following the results we will be able to reach concrete agreements,” he said.
Maksimov also expressed the hope that the agreements and contacts that will be established today will form the basis for signing agreements for the next conference.
