Bishkek, July 26, 2022 . /Kabar/ . Sabantuy-2022 was celebrated in Bishkek on Tuesday, the press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office reported.
The event was organized by Berdemlik society with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the city house of culture Dialogue.
"Traditionally, the main venue of the festival was the Elm Grove. The event was attended by Deputy Mayor of the capital Victoria Mozgacheva, curator of youth and volunteer projects of the Russian House in Bishkek Baira Buvaeva,” the report said.
The program of Sabantuy-2022 was diverse and included performances of creative groups, soloists and collective dances of the audience.
After, the concert program smoothly passed in sports competitions on revealing of the absolute baatyr of the fight kuresh. Guests could taste the Tatar chak-chak and other national pastries.
Sabantuy is an annual folk festival of the end of spring field work for the Tatars and Bashkirs.
