Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2024. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov met on Sunday with President of the European Council Charles Michel on the sidelines of the Future Summit in New York (USA).
The sides discussed key issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union in the context of strengthening political dialogue and economic cooperation.
He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan highly values the contribution of the European Union to ensuring the progressive and sustainable development of the country.
Charles Michel expressed readiness to continue close cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, especially within the framework of the sustainable development and climate change agenda.
The parties confirmed the importance of further dialogue to address regional and global challenges.
