Bishkek, Jan. 27, 2023 / Kabar/. Today, on January 27, an informal meeting was held between President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev as part of his state visit to Kyrgyzstan.
National yurts were installed in the Ala-Archa Nature Park to familiarize guests with the traditions of the Kyrgyz people and an exhibition of folk arts and crafts and craftsmen was placed.
A blacksmith's tent was also installed, where chain mail, helmets, shields, military belts and jewelry of ancient masters were hung.
According to the heritage of the ancestors, the blacksmith bends a red-hot piece of metal on the anvil, makes a horseshoe, then shoves the horse near the tent.
In addition, the leaders of the countries tasted traditional Kyrgyz dishes.
Further, the folklore-ethnographic group "Muras" performed famous national and Uzbek musical works for honored guests.
