Bishkek, Sept. 18, 2023 / Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov today, September 18, arrived in New York (United States of America) to participate in the events of the High-Level Week of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, the press service of the head of state reported.
During the visit, the President will take part in the work of the UN Summit, the Leaders' Dialogue of the Sustainable Development Goals Summit, speak at the general debates of the UN General Assembly, and also take part in the first Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the President of the United States of America Joe Biden.
In addition, Sadyr Zhaparov will hold a number of meetings, including a meeting with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, heads of foreign states and international financial institutions on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
The head of state will also speak at the Kyrgyz-American business forum with representatives of a number of large US companies.
The official delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic includes of:
- Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev;
- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev;
- Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States of America Baktybek Amanbaev;
- Head of the Department of Political and Economic Research of the Presidential Administration Almaz Isanov;
- Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision Melis Turgunbaev;
- Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev;
- Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev;
- Minister of Justice Ayaz Baetov;
- Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations in New York City Aida Kasymalieva.
