Bishkek, March 16, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov arrived in the Presidential Complex of the Republic of Turkiye in Ankara to participate in an extraordinary meeting of the Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
At the Presidential Complex, leaders of countries and heads of delegations who arrived at the event were greeted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
After the end of the welcoming ceremony and joint photographing, the leaders of the countries moved to the meeting room.
The theme of the extraordinary meeting of the heads of state of the Organization is "Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance".
The event will discuss issues of natural disasters caused by natural and man-made hazards, as well as collective response measures.
The summit is attended by the heads of the member states of the Organization - Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The Prime Minister of Hungary and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan are participating in the work of the upcoming summit as countries with the status of observers in the OTS.
