Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2024. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in an informal meeting of CIS leaders in Leningrad Oblast of Russia.
Presidents of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived for the meeting and were welcomed by Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the airplane crash in Aktau.
The Russian president also summarized the results of the Russian presidency in the CIS in 2024. The main tasks for the future were defined. The topic of preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was also touched upon.
He invited all those present to Moscow to celebrate the anniversary of the Victory.
