Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2022 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in an opening ceremony of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games held in Beijing, China, his press service said.
The event was held at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest.
The audience and guests of the ceremony - including leaders of foreign countries, representatives of foreign delegations and heads of international organizations - were shown theatrical actions and a colorful show with the use of modern technology and special effects.
National skier Maxim Gordeev took part in the parade of athletes, who marched through the stadium with the flag of Kyrgyzstan.
At the end of the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping declared the games open.
Athe invitation of the Chinese side, Sadyr Zhaparov is in Beijing for his workin visit, during which he attended the official opening ceremony of 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
