Bishkek, May 13, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated the Kyrgyz people on the Orozo Ait holiday (Eid al-Fitr).

His press service reported that President Zhaparov in his congratulation said that Orozo Ait is a traditional holiday of charity and joy, which has been celebrated by our people since ancient times. On this day, it is customary to visit each other, expressing good and good wishes. The entire Islamic world celebrates this day as a symbol of mercy and spiritual cleansing.

“Taking into account the current sanitary and epidemiological situation in the world, as well as in order to ensure the safety of citizens, we were forced to introduce some restrictions. In the holy month of Ramadan, our citizens reacted with great understanding to these measures, thereby expressing their deep faith in the future of the state. Unfortunately, the Orozo Ait holiday is also subject to certain restrictions. The state is making every effort to fight against coronavirus infection.

In addition, in the holy month of Ramadan, events took place that threaten the territorial integrity and security of our country. Perhaps this is a test of faith and endurance. May all our prayers be heard in this holy month. I am sure that the generosity, courage, wisdom and patriotism of our people will become a reliable support in such difficult situations.

Today all our prayers, hopes and aspirations should be directed towards the establishment of peace and harmony.

May the Almighty grant every home health, peace, prosperity and happiness.

Happy Orozo Ait!," Zhaparov said.

The Orozo Ait or festival of Eid al-Fitr, the Festival of Fast-breaking, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
