Bishkek, Jan. 7, 2023 / Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, January 7, congratulated the Orthodox people of Kyrgyzstan on Christmas.

In his congratulatory message the head of state said that these wonderful, beloved holidays are associated with special traditions passing from generation to generation, a sincere belief in the fulfillment of cherished desires.

“For more than thirty years of independence, with the strength of our multi-ethnic and multi-confessional people, we have strengthened our statehood, I believe that we will become a single and strong community on the path to creating a civic identity "Kyrgyz zharany".

The Orthodox Church, along with Islam and other confessions, has played an important role in shaping the character of our citizens. And today it is our reliable partner in social welfare, works of mercy and education.

May these wonderful winter days bring harmony and mutual understanding, prosperity, words of love and children's laughter to your homes and families. May the Christmas light and hope live in your hearts and inspire good deeds and creative work for the sake of well-being and prosperity of our Kyrgyzstan all year long.

I wish you all health, joy, success and happiness,” the congratulation says.
