Bishkek, June 28, 2023. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the Kurman Ait holiday (Eid al-Adha).
In his congratulatory message the head of state said that this is a holy holiday, which is the beginning of spiritual development.
“On this holy day, may the Almighty bless us in everything and help those of us who need his help and mercy. The holy Kurman Ait holiday strengthens the unity of the people, embodies kindness, compassion, generosity and respect.
On this sacred holiday, I urge you to help your loved ones, relatives, low-income families, strengthen warm relationships with them.
Islam is a religion of tolerance and forgiveness. Its values are closely connected with our traditions and occupy a significant place in the spiritual development of our people. Islam shows us the way to virtue, calling us to live, following the examples of wisdom, generosity and restraint.
Our people have been living for centuries, combining the wise views of Islam with their original traditions.
On these blessed days, we ask the Almighty to accept the Hajj - the pilgrimage of our compatriots residing in the holy city of Mecca.
May the Almighty grant our sunny Kyrgyzstan and its people, uniting representatives of various faiths and ethnic groups, spiritual unity, solidarity and mutual respect”, he said wishing the country peace, development, patience, unity and prosperity and good health, peace and prosperity to all the Kyrgyz people and every family.
