Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov participated on Monday in the opening ceremony of a school in Mykan village of Alamudun region of Chui Oblast, his press service said.
Zhaparov’s first trip to regions as president of the Kyrgyz Republic was made to Mykan village, Alamudun region of Chui Oblast.

Speaking at the event, the president congratulated the villagers on the opening of a new school building.
"Education is the most reliable basis of sustainable development. Time has shown that only an educated society can withstand global competition. The existence of an educated society in Kyrgyzstan is an important state issue. Our education system must be the main mechanism for the country's development,” the Kyrgyz leader stated.
The head of state noted that special attention is paid to the construction of educational institutions in regions and the overhaul of old schools.

Sadyr Zhaparov recalled that he participated in the laying of the foundation stone of this school.
"We are all happy that the school was built and commissioned in 9 months. After all, every new school is the way to a bright future and the development of our country!,” he added.
The president expressed gratitude to the World Assembly of Muslim Youth for their assistance in the construction of social facilities, in particular 55 schools in the most needy regions of Kyrgyzstan, including 7 schools in Chui Oblast.

Sadyr Zhaparov also thanked entrepreneurs and sponsors who help develop villages and solve social problems of regions’ residents.
Further, he toured the school building, including classrooms and a gymnasium.
The school can accommodate 300 students in one shift. Schoolchildren are taught in two shifts.
